Blue Chip Leasing

Daniel Wittlin is the President and CEO of Blue Chip Leasing Corporation and Enable Capital Corporation, both of which provide lease and finance solutions to the SME market.

Prior to that, he was Vice President of an industrial equipment distribution business with offices located in Ontario, Quebec and in the US. In addition to being responsible for day to day operations, Daniel also played a pivotal role in winding down the business when market conditions changed due to offshore competition. His role in winding down this business was documented and is included as a case study used to teach business strategy and has been widely used in various business schools.

While a true entrepreneur by heart, Daniel is also a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He has acted as a mentor to both young business graduates as well as seasoned business owners.

Marcelle Newstadt is Vice President Operations at Blue Chip Leasing Corporation. In this role, she is actively involved in credit, collections, loan documentation, HR and many of the day to day operations of the company. She has extensive experience in the management of both equipment and vehicle portfolios and spent several years working for Municipal Leasing, a $250 million leasing company with 180 employees, as assistant to the VP. After Municipal Leasing was subsequently acquired by AT&T Capital Inc., Marcelle joined the management team of Ontario Leasing Limited. She also gained valuable experience at FinanciaLinx where she supervised the End of Lease Department.

Marcelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Diploma in Education. In 1992 she immigrated to Canada from South Africa, where she worked in market research and product development for the financial services industry, including a major South African bank, Standard Bank.

Ramon Chait is the Vice President Sales at Blue Chip Leasing Corporation. In this role, he is actively involved in deal origination and oversees the Blue Chip broker network. He is also actively involved in the company’s MIS system and works in conjunction with the other VP’s in many of the day to day operations of the company. Prior to this, Ramon was a General Manager of an established 3 store restaurant chain located in Toronto. He has also held several management positions in the sewing machine industry including the General Manager position of the parts department of B&W Sewing Machined Ltd. from 1999 to 2003, where he oversaw a staff of 25 employees and operated from two Canadian cities.

Ramon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a business and law major as well as a certificate in Business Management. He immigrated to Canada from South Africa in 1996. In South Africa, he was a partner in a 4 store retail and wholesale business that was in the giftware sector.

Adrian Isaacs is the Vice President Finance of Blue Chip Leasing Corporation. Prior to that, Adrian was the founder and principal consultant of Focus Business Advisory Services; a consulting company that provided business advisory services to the SME market. He is also a former Trustee in Bankruptcy where he spent over ten years in the commercial bankruptcy business with the Toronto-based insolvency & financial advisory firm, Farber Financial Group. Previously, he worked in the audit/assurance area with a midmarket firm of Chartered Accountants, Mintz & Partners LLP (now: Deloitte).

Adrian is a Chartered Accountant, h as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, and is a certified bankruptcy specialist having obtained his CIRP (Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Practitioners) designation.

He has over 20 years of business experience, has advised companies on a broad range of business issues, and has industry experience in automotive, manufacturing, services, construction, retail, software development, HVAC, food & beverage, entertainment, technology, import/distribution and health care sectors.

Amy Ma is the Controller of Blue Chip Leasing Corporation and Enable Capital Corporation and has been with the Enable Capital Corporation since 2005. In this role, she oversees a staff of 3 employees and is responsible for all of the day to day accounting, financial reporting, audit requirements, securitization of leases, compliance reporting to funders and banking. She is intimately familiar with lease and finance accounting and has expertise in a number of computer applications including Casitron, Microsoft Great Plains, Credit Star and Crystal Reporting.

She is a member of the senior management team and has played a key role in the acquisition and integration of Blue Chip Leasing Corporation.

Amy holds a diploma in Business Administration from Seneca College where she was on President's Honour List.
